Plane Crashes At Mid-Way Airport

The Cessna 172S crashed at Ellis County's Mid-Way Regional Airport.

A single-engine Cessna 172S crashed Thursday afternoon at Mid-Way Regional Airport in Ellis County.

The pilot and a passenger are said to have non life-threatening injuries.

It is not yet known why the plane crashed.

The airport is halfway between Midlothian and Waxahachie along state Highway 287.

Chopper 5 is on the way. NBC 5 will update this story with more information as it's received.
