An Instagram picture of a tree surrounded by stacks of presents went viral and sparked a debate about presents at Christmas.
British mother of three Emma Tapping posted the image to her Instagram account about a week ago.
The picture went viral when it was shared on Facebook with the message, "It's nearly time for all the materialistic parents to compete and broadcast how many presents their kids have. Just remember there's are a lot of children who won't get much."
The 35-year-old Tapping, who blogs about saving money, said the presents are for her entire family, not just her kids. She added that she saved and hunted for bargains to make her kids' Christmas dreams come true. [[361542201,C]]
