If you've gotten a call claiming you've won big money from Publisher's Clearing House, you're not alone.

In the past 24 hours, the Fort Worth Police Department has received many calls from people saying they've been contacted by the sweepstakes.

If you get a call from someone claiming to be from Publisher's Clearing House, it is not them.

Fort Worth police reports show the callers are asking the victims to wire them money in order to claim their prize. But that is not how it works.

On its website, Publisher's Clearing House states they never contact winners by phone, E-mail or Facebook. They would never ask you to send them money ahead of time.
