Person Run Over as Men Attempt Wiring Theft: Police

One person was severely injured after being run over by two men trying to steal electrical wiring from a business last month, Fort Worth police say.

According to police, two men, identified as Don Ray Hebbe and Jeremy Chad Hert, used a truck to try to pull electrical wiring from the outside of a business at 120 Coad Street at about 6:30 a.m. Sept. 19.

Fort Worth police said when a person who lives in the building came outside to investigate, the men hit the person with the truck.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was severely injured.

Hebbe has been arrested, police said, but they're still looking for Hert. Police said he may be driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado with the TX plate BV8-4674.

Anyone with information on the crime or Hert’s location is asked to call the Fort Worth Police Department.
