A woman walking along Spur 341/Lockheed Boulevard in Fort Worth was struck and killed by a car Wednesday morning.
According to police, the woman attempted to cross the road when she was struck by a passing motorist. One car was able to swerve and miss the woman, but a second vehicle, who attempted to brake and get out of the way, hit the woman.
The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The incident took place along the service road from Interstate 30 to Spur 341.
