Passengers Stranded by Flooding at D/FW Airport

Parts of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport flooded overnight following a round of Thunderstorms.

Frustrated passengers began calling to report being stranded in the airport's Terminal E because of flooding just after midnight Friday.

One of the roads leading to the terminal also flooded. Officials said they had to tow four vehicles out of the water.

Hundreds of vehicles were backed up as drivers waited to pick up passengers. An airport bus driver said his route, which normally takes about 10 minutes, took 2 hours to complete.

No injuries were reported.[[303049331,C]]
