Capt. Dan Rochelle said police were summoned to the home of Druscilla Bowie on Feb. 5 after a mother arrived to pick up her son, Kayden Bolden, and he was dead.

Rochelle said there's no indication of foul play in Bolden's death. Autopsy results on his cause of death are pending. Bolden would have turned a year old next month.

During the investigation, which is ongoing, police said they determined Bowie was operating the home-based child care facility without a license and placed her under arrest. The charge is a Class B misdemeanor.

Police said Bowie surrendered to detectives and was booked into the Lewisville Jail at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Online records do not list an attorney for Bowie.

Bowie's bond was set at $30,000. Police said she was transferred to the Denton County Sheriff's jail Wednesday night.
