One woman is dead and three more people were injured after someone drove the wrong way down the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 Sunday morning, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said.  It happened around 5:20 a.m. near I-30 and Ferguson near Dallas, according to dispatchers.

Ana Tello, 25, was pronounced dead on the scene, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office reported.

Tello was the front seat passenger of the wrong way vehicle, Dallas County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kim Leach said in an e-mail to NBCDFW Sunday afternoon.   Tello was one of three people in that vehicle.

One person in the second vehicle traveling the right direction was also injured. Their exact conditions are not known.

No other information was released on the crash.  There was no word on what may have caused the driver to travel the wrong way down the interstate.

The westbound lanes of I-30 were closed for about two hours while deputies investigated the crash.
