One person is dead after a fiery crash in Dallas. The crash happened in the southbound lanes of Regal Row going onto state Highway 183.
Police say a man died after being trapped in a crashed vehicle on Regal Row near state Highway 183.
The crash happened at about 4:40 a.m. when the car slammed into a large utility pole and burst into flames, police said.
The driver of the car was able to get out, but the passenger was pinned as the car burned around him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was in serious condition, police said.
The road was closed for about two hours while crews cleaned up.
