One person is dead after a shooting took place Friday night off the 2400 block of Walnut Ridge, according to Dallas Police.
The Dallas Police Department said they received a call at 3:37 a.m. on May 27 regarding a shooting outside of the Dallas Cabaret.
Police said a fight spilled onto the street and a guard working security tried to break it up. The men fighting got mad at the guard and shot him, according to police. The guard is in critical condition from his gunshot wounds.
Dallas police said one person has died, but the identity of the individual has not been confirmed.
Police are still investigating this incident, and there are no suspects at this time.
