One person is dead Sunday morning after an overnight stabbing in McKinney, according to McKinney police.
The McKinney Police Department and McKinney Fire Department both responded to a stabbing in the parking lot of the Lakes of Eldorado on the 1400 block of Eldorado Parkway at 2:03 a.m. on May 29.
When officials arrived, they said the victim was dead on the scene.The victim's identity has not been released.
A suspect, who is being treated for his injuries at a nearby hospital, has been identified but his name has not been made public, according to police.
The cause of the stabbing is currently under investigation.
