White Settlement police are investigating a hit and run that left one person dead.
It happened just before 7 a.m. Sunday in the 8600 block of White Settlement Road just west of Las Vegas Trail.
Police say a pedestrian was hit and the driver left the scene.
Police have not released a description of the vehicle involved or the identity of the pedestrian killed.
