Dallas police are searching for the two robbers who shot a convenience store clerk in the head and pistol-whipped another during a robbery early Sunday morning.
The robbery happened at a 7-Eleven store on Shiloh Road near Interstate 635 in east Dallas where police said two men robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money at about 2:50 a.m.
Police said one of the clerks was pistol-whipped and the second was shot in the back of the head after struggling with one of the robbers.
The clerk who was shot is in stable condition at a local hospital.
Police said the convenience store was robbed just two days ago and the clerks told investigators they think the same robbers hit the store again early Sunday morning.
Dallas police continue to search for the two robbers. A description of the robbers has not been released.
