Oncor officials said the company will use a helicopter to work on electrical lines in several areas in Dallas.
Company officials plan to upgrade the transmission electric grid through the end of the year in the following neighborhoods:
- Centerville
- Kirkland Park
- Mt. Creek
- West Levee
- Cedar Crest
- TI
- Renner
- Northaven
Officials said they will send a letter to people living in those areas.
"We regret any alarm this may cause and will complete the work as quickly and as safely as possible," company officials stated in a news release.
