Emergency officials have recovered a body from a Central Texas lake after a three-and-a-half-hour search.
The Bell County Sheriff's Department says the body was found at Belton Lake near Temple around 1 p.m. Wednesday. In a statement, sheriff's Lt. Donnie Adams identified the victim as 48-year-old Thomas Buss of Killeen.
A witness told police that a man fell from a boat and into the water around 9:30 a.m.
Witnesses told investigators that the empty boat was seen driving in circles on the lake and that clothes were found in the water.
