North Texas Wal-Mart Employees Join Protest

North Texas Wal-Mart employees joined thousands across the country protesting for higher wages and full-time positions Friday.

The protesters said the hope these "Black Friday Protests" initiate the conversation with management. They are asking for more hours, $15 per hour and respect.

"it is very important for me to live better," protest or Theresa Thomas said. "So I can pay my bills and everything."

Wal-Mart employee Deanne Few said there's a reason she's been with the company for 20 years.

"if I'm willing to move up in the company, they're willing to train me," she said. "All I have to do is ask and they give me the tools necessary to move up."
