A family in Burleson is reunited with their dog after 10 years of being separated.
Paris is a 12-year-old Golden Retriever.
The family thought they were giving her away so she could be used as a service dog.
But last month, Paris was rescued from a home in Waxahachie in bad health, along with 70 other animals that were found in deplorable conditions.

Several animals were also found dead.
“We’re blessed,” said Courtney Galbreath, Paris’ owner. “It’s a miracle. She’s turning 13 on Sept. 22. For all intents and purposes, she shouldn’t be alive and she is.”

The SPCA was able to track down the family because Paris was micro-chipped.
The SPCA says most of the other animals they rescued found new loving homes during "Clear the Shelters Day."
