Nobody Hurt When United Jet Lands in Houston, Into Grass

Nobody has been hurt when a United Airlines jet slipped off the taxiway after landing in Houston during rainy weather.

A spokesman for George Bush Intercontinental Airport says the passengers and crew safely deplaned Monday morning. Bill Begley says the plane landed normally but made a wide turn on the taxiway and the jet went into some muddy grass.

Begley had no immediate information on the flight number or where the jet originated. The plane's landing gear appears mired in the mud.

A message left with United Airlines wasn't immediately returned Monday. Further details weren't immediately available.
