Another No Refusal Weekend for the Dallas Police Department starts Friday night.

That means if you get pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving you will be given the option of providing a breath or blood sample.  If you refuse, a warrant will be secured to take a blood sample to determine your blood-alcohol concentration -- the results of which will be used against you in court.

So while you might be celebrating the parade that almost didn't happen (thanks Mark Cuban), think twice about your actions.

Just go ahead and reserve your taxi or pick a buddy to be your designated driver.  Come to think of it, that's pretty good thinking at any time.

No Refusal Weekend starts at 6 p.m. and runs through 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
