Little Elm is welcoming it's new fire chief, Brian Roach, with a public swearing-in ceremony Thursday evening.
The ceremony was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Little Elm Public Safety Building at 88 West Eldorado Parkway.
Roach has served as interim Fire Chief for Little Elm since November 11, 2015, when former Fire Chief Joe Florentino was promoted to Assistant Town Manager.
Roach has been with the Little Elm Fire Department since 2008. Previously he served in the fire departments of Allen, Sherman, Farmersville, and Wylie.
