New Logo for Cotton Bowl Classic

Officials of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic unveiled the new look for the College Football Playoff Semifinal.

Since the 80th Cotton Bowl is on New Year's Eve, the new look shows fireworks over AT&T Stadium to form an abstract version of a cotton boll.

“This is going to be a very special year for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, and we wanted a new primary graphic that personifies the grandeur of this special game and the celebratory atmosphere we have planned for our first College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic,” said Rick Baker, CBAA President/CEO.

The Dallas-based brand agency, Torch Creative, collaborated with the Classic to develop and design this year's look.
