New Frost Bank Tower Under Construction in Downtown Fort Worth

Frost Tower will be 25-stories and 73,000 square feet

Texas-based Frost Bank has signed a lease and secured naming rights to a new 25-story tower being built in Fort Worth.

Frost Bank and Anthracite Reality Partners of Fort Worth announced Friday the bank will occupy more than 73,000 square feet in Frost Tower.

The tower, located at 640 Taylor Street in downtown Fort Worth, will open in late 2017 and is being designed by Bennett Benner Partners for the developer, Anthracite Realty Partners.

"We are excited to be a part of this state-of-the art new tower that will bear the Frost name," said Phil Norwood, region chairman for Tarrant County for Frost. "It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to maintaining a strong presence in downtown Fort Worth.

"Consolidating our lines of business - banking, investments and insurance - into the new Frost Tower will create a more collaborative environment that will allow us to better serve our customers," said Hadley Woerner, Frost region president for Tarrant County. "Frost has combined different lines of business into one building in several markets, including the Frost Tower in Uptown Dallas."

Frost serves commercial and consumer customers through 34 full-service financial centers in the Metroplex, including 21 in the Tarrant County region.
