New Dallas Zoo Monkey

The Dallas Zoo announced on Facebook it has a new addition to its primate population, a baby colobus monkey.

The zoo posted the photo Friday. The bouncing baby doesn't yet have a name because it'll take zookeepers a few days to figure out it it's a boy or a girl.

The baby colobus monkey is the sixth for the proud parents LaBounee and Kirby.

It's all part of the zoo's Colobus Species Survival Plan to ensure the survival of the endangered animals.

The zoo says you can look for the baby in ZooNorth.

Mom LaBounee hasn't let the baby out of her sight long enough for any other photos or videos, but the zoo says you might see it in the habitat this weekend.
