Neighborhood Without Power After Crash, Shooting: Dallas Police

An Oak Cliff neighborhood is without power after a double shooting and a wreck overnight, according to authorities.

Dallas police said a pickup truck crashed into an electric pole in the 1600 block of Hansboro Avenue near Rugged Drive.

Police said two people were shot, at least one of whom was in the truck when it crashed into the pole.

Authorities removed a woman from a nearby home and transported her to a hospital. Her condition and the cause of her injuries are not yet known.

Dallas police said they are looking for a suspect in the shootings who fled the scene in a yellow SUV after the crash.

Crews cut off power to the neighborhood while they worked on the pole. As of 4:45 a.m., they were still working on the power lines.
