NTTA Closing Lanes of President George Bush Turnpike to Pave New Lane

The North Texas Transit Authority says the inner-most two westbound lanes of the President George Bush Turnpike near Coit Road and the Dallas North Tollway will be closed Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The NTTA said the closures are needed to pave a new fourth lane of the turnpike on westbound PGBT between the Coit Road entry and east of the DNT.

"Two westbound left lanes from the Coit Road Main Lane Gantry to the Dallas North Tollway will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, through the morning of Friday, Nov. 13."

Changeable message signs will be placed prior to lane closures in the construction area. When needed, law enforcement officers also will be on duty to assist motorists.

All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.
