NBC 5 won the Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Morning/Daytime Newscast and 13 other Emmy awards at the 2013 Lone Star Emmy Awards in San Antonio on Saturday night.

The Lone Star Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded NBC 5 / KXAS-TV and Telemundo 39 / KXTX-TV a total of 33 Lone Star Emmy® Awards during its 11th annual awards gala in San Antonio on Saturday, November 9, 2013.  The Lone Star Chapter represents the state of Texas’ 19 television markets.
