Lanes on northbound Interstate 45 have been reopened following a jackknifed 18-wheeler that struck a bridge support pillar Tuesday morning, Wilmer police said. The driver was not harmed.
Southbound I-45 traffic was unaffected. Traffic was being forced onto the service road near Pleasant Run Road.
The Texas Department of Transportation inspected the bridge and the structure is not threatened, police said.
