A Midland police officer and a woman are dead after what investigators suspect was a murder-suicide.
Midland Police Chief Price Robinson said a male police officer was found dead about 7:30 p.m. Monday at the officer's home in northern Midland.
The woman was found wounded but died a short time later at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Police didn't disclose the nature of the officer's relationship with the woman nor confirm who fired the fatal shots.
