A Dallas woman was arrested Saturday after police said she tried to force her children to ingest poison.
Officers were called to an apartment in the 10800 block of Walnut Hill Lane Saturday, where they arrested 31-year-old Paw Eh.
According to police, Eh forced her 4-year-old son to ingest poison. She also tried to force her 7-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter to ingest poison, but was unsuccessful, police said.
The youngest child was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but has since stabilized, according to police. Dallas police did not have an update on his condition Monday.
Eh's other two children were being cared for by another family member on Sunday.
According to our partners at The Dallas Morning News, the two older children reported to officials their mother had threatened to kill all of them, as well as herself.
The children told police that Eh put ant poison and water on a spoon, and forced her son to drink it, The Dallas Morning News reported.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, the 7-year-old boy told authorities: "My mom wants to kill us with poison powder that kills ants and stuff."

The boy refused, leading Eh to slap him on the cheek before forcing the spoon into his mouth, according to The Dallas Morning News report.
Child Protective Services spokeswoman Marleigh Meisner said Eh did not have a history with the agency, and that all three of her children have been taken into CPS custody. The affidavit did not make any reference to the father of the children and police had no information on a father.
Eh was charged with attempted capital murder and is being held in the Dallas County Jail on $500,000 bond.
