More Police Expected at UT-Austin After Bomb Threat

The University of Texas at Austin will increase police presence on campus after an anonymous bomb threat.

UT- Austin released an emergency alert Wednesday at 6:01 p.m., stating that a non-specific bomb threat was received to the campus.
 
The university said no additional information indicated that the bomb threat is credible, however, over the next few days there will be an increased police presence in and around campus buildings.
 
The campus is scheduled to remain open and all campus activities will continue as planned.
