More FBI agents and experts will be taking the stand as prosecutors build their case against a Saudi man accused of gathering chemicals and other materials to try to build a bomb.
Prosecutors will present more evidence Tuesday, the third day of testimony in the Amarillo trial of Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, a former Texas Tech University chemical engineering student.
Aldawsari, who was legally in the U.S. on a student visa, was arrested in February 2011 after federal agents secretly searched his apartment and found bomb-making chemicals, wiring and clocks.
He faces up to life in prison if convicted of attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction. Investigators say targets he researched included the Dallas home of former President George W. Bush, dams and nuclear plants.
