The new Miss Texas is Miss Fort Worth. Late Saturday, Shannon Sanderford was crowned the new Miss Texas at the Eisemann Center in Richardson.
Sanderford is 23-years-old. Her hometown is Coppell. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma where she majored in Journalism and Advertising with a Minor in English Writing.
Her talent is Pop Vocal. In the pageant directory, she lists her hobbies as shoe shopping, stick-n-bake cookie backing, blogging, travel and discovering new words.
Sanderford will compete in the Miss America Pageant in September in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
