If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
One lucky North Texan could miss out on their opportunity to answer that question.
A $1 million winning Powerball ticket expires at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The Dec. 10, 2016 drawing's winning ticket was reportedly purchased at Dollar & Dollars at 3462 Webb Chapel Ext. in Dallas, near Bachman Lake, but no one has turned up with the winning ticket to claim the prize.
The winning numbers for the drawing are 12-21-32-44-66, Powerball 15, but no one will win the big prize if someone does not turn in the winning ticket before the close of business Thursday — the 180-day mark following the drawing.
Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery, encourages "Powerball players to take another look at their ticket and if your numbers match, sign the back of the ticket and contact us."
The only deadline extension available is if the winner is an "eligible" military personnel member, according to Powerball officials.

The unclaimed winnings will revert back to the state for programs approved by the Texas legislature, if they go unclaimed.
If you, or someone you know, are a regular Powerball player, you may want to give those old tickets a second look. It might be your lucky day.
"Nobody came forward. It's an exciting time for us. We sold the winning ticket. We want to at least congratulate that customer and know that he got it, got his reward, but no one's come forward at this point," said Faraz Anwar, with Dollar & Dollars.
Before you think the store owners lost out, they didn't. They still get a commission for selling a ticket that matches the winning numbers.
The jackpot for this Saturday's Powerball drawing is $375 million.
