Appleseed Academy in Mesquite is now working with the First Baptist Church of Meadowview to open a temporary location after last week's fire. [[421576833, R]]
The school posted on its Facebook page that the church offered its building at 4346 North Galloway Avenue as a temporary location.
Workers spent the weekend preparing classrooms.
The state must approve the new location, so workers are hopeful to obtain that approval on Monday. That means the school could be back open in it's temporary home by Tuesday or Wednesday.
Appleseed Academy lost everything in the fire, so the school is also accepting donations. On their Facebook page, they have ask for books, toys and art supplies that can be dropped off at the First Baptist Church of Meadowview in Mesquite.
