Police said a 25-year-old man was fatally shot after an apparent altercation between two drivers in Mesquite late Sunday night. [[379616301,C]]
Mesquite police said they responded to the intersection of Rodeo Center Drive and West Scyene Road near the Mesquite Arena at about 10:15 p.m. and found the body of a man in the road.
The man — later identified as Armando Macias Jr. — had several gunshot wounds on him.
Investigators said the shooting followed what appeared to be an altercation between the occupants of two vehicles driving along Rodeo Center Drive.
Detectives said they are interviewing multiple witnesses at police headquarters.
