Mesquite police caught a woman who lead them on a chase through multiple cities.
The chase began as an attempted traffic stop in Mesquite and continued into Dallas on Wednesday afternoon. Officers attempted to stop the grey Dodge Charger because it matched the description of a vehicle used by theft suspect at an Old Navy store.
Speeds in the chase reportedly reached 95 mph, according to police scanners.
Mesquite PD caught the female driver on Geller Road in southern Dallas County near Wilmer. The driver stopped the car near some trailers and ran away before police tackled her and quickly placed her in the back of a police vehicle.
