A North Texas man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison over his online sharing of a child pornography video depicting a toddler.
A federal judge in Fort Worth on Friday sentenced 43-year-old Barry Robert Turner of Arlington. Turner in July pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography.
Prosecutors say Turner last December emailed, to another person, a minute-long video of child pornography featuring a toddler.
Investigators say Turner weeks earlier responded to an online advertisement for phone sex and continued to correspond with the person who placed the ad. Turner sent the individual the video of child pornography and in subsequent emails and texts they discussed the shared images.
Further details weren't immediately released about the toddler portrayed in the video.
