Members of Odessa Drug Ring Convicted of Murder Over Meth

Four members of a West Texas drug ring have been convicted of capital murder in a dispute over crystal methamphetamine.

Authorities said the Odessa residents operated in the oil and gas-rich Permian Basin.

Forty-year-old Raymond Hernandez Olgin, Jr., 34-year-old Rudolfo Romero Parades, 40-year-old Stacey Louise Castillo and 32-year-old Anthony Ryan Gonzalez face up to life in prison.

Prior to jury selection, 35-year-old Liz Sanchez Hernandez pleaded guilty to murder.  Her son, 18-year-old Brian Adan Hernandez, pleaded guilty to a drug conspiracy charge.

Prosecutors argued that Olgin and Paredes along with 35-year-old Noe Garcia Galan abducted and murdered Sean Michael Lamb over suspicions that he had stolen a large quantity of crystal meth. Galan and one other man remain at large.
