Medical Examiner: 2 Parker County Hot Car Deaths Ruled Homicides

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled two Parker County children who died in a hot car earlier this year were homicides.

Authorities said 2-year-old Juliet Ramirez and 16-month-old Cavanaugh Ramirez were found dead on May 26 inside a vehicle near Lake Weatherford.

The medical examiner's report listed the cause of death for both children as exogenous hyperthermia and the manner of death as homicide.

On June 23, the children's mother, Cynthia Marie Randolph, 24, was charged with two first-degree felony counts of injury to a child causing serious bodily injury.

With the medical examiner's finding, additional charges may be filed against the mother.
