McKinney police are questioning two people after a call that a car was shot at by people driving a pickup.

McKinney police said two people were in custody after a caller reported someone shot at their car in a possible road rage incident.

Police said the driver reported the shooting happened near Airport and Enloe Roads.

The driver followed the pickup truck involved in the shooting until the driver pulled into a Shell station at El Dorado Parkway and McDonald Street/Highway 5.

Police took two people into custody and were questioning them at the police station.

Police said there was evidence the car was hit by gunfire but officers wouldn't say how many times. No injuries were reported.

Police said it was too early to tell if the drivers knew each other of if it was a random shooting.
