McKinney Avenue Trolley Ready to Roll Into Downtown

A long-awaited addition to the Dallas trolley system is set to get rolling this weekend, according to the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority.

Crews have been working for several years on the so-called "urban circulator" and Olive Street extensions that will bring the popular trolley cars through downtown, including Klyde Warren Park.

The McKinney Avenue Transit Authority posted on its Facebook page that the first car to travel through the new section will make its way at 6 a.m. Saturday.
