Mesquite police are looking for two men that tried to rob a McDonald's, and the "Hamburglar" isn't one of them.

On Thursday night, two gun-toting men came in through the back door of a McDonald's in the 2000 block of Scyene Road.

The men surprised an employee, flashed their guns and led her to a back room. Another employee trying to help close down the shop walked in on the crime in progress and tried to tip-toe away. The men followed her to the front of the store.

After a few minutes, the masked men left the store without taking anything.

Mesquite's tactical unit showed up to the restaurant, thinking the men might be inside, but they were not.

Officers are still looking for the men. Anyone with information is asked to call Mesquite police at 972-216-6759.
