Mark Hasse Reward Fund Up to $100,000

Tipsters may remain anonymous

The reward offered in the murder case of slain Kaufman County assistant district attorney Mark Hasse has grown to $100,000.

Pat Laney, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman, said so many people have donated to the Mark Hasse reward fund that it has now eclipsed six figures.

Hasse was gunned down on the morning of Jan. 31 as he walked from a parking lot toward the Kaufman County courthouse.  To date, investigators have made no arrests and have revealed no suspects in the shooting.  The investigation into the slaying continues.

The reward is for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in Hasse's murder. Anyone with information can call Kaufman County Crime Stoppers at 1-877-847-7522. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

Donations to the Crime Stoppers reward fund can also be made payable to the Mark Hasse Fund at any area American National Bank of Texas location.
