Grand Prairie police said a Mansfield Independent School District bus tipped on its side during a wreck Wednesday morning.
The bus was carrying two district employees and one child when it tipped in the 5700 block of Lake Ridge Parkway at about 8 a.m., according to police. Grand Prairie Police Department spokesman Lyle Gensler said the bus hit a patch of ice, causing it to tip onto its side.
No injuries were reported, but all three people were transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
Police told NBC 5 that the student on the bus was wearing a seatbelt, which was a big reason why she wasn't seriously injured.
No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
