Mansfield Middle School Evacuated After Student's Phone Explodes

Firefighters said a middle school in Mansfield was evacuated after a student's phone exploded Friday morning.

Mansfield Fire Department officials said the Worley Middle School student's LG phone was on a desk when it exploded at about 10 a.m.

Authorities said the students were evacuated from the school for about 10 minutes after the explosion caused the fire alarm to go off.

No students were injured, according to officials.
