Man's ID Sought After Fort Worth Sex Assault, 2 Failed Attempts

Fort Worth police are asking for help identifying a man who raped a woman in a community of apartments on the city's east side.

According to investigators, on Nov. 4 a woman told police she was sexually assaulted on the 6600 block of Oakland Bend Drive.

During their investigation, detectives learned two other attempted sexual assaults occurred in the same area on Nov. 2.

The victims described the man as black, in his early 20s, 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 8 inches tall with a thin build and a light to medium complexion. He has a slight mustache and was wearing a black cap or beanie type of hat with a Mohawk-style haircut.

Police believe none of the women knew the man.

A composite sketch is expected to be released soon. Meanwhile, additional officers are patrolling the area.
