When Dallas Fire rescue responded to an apartment fire on Sunday afternoon they found a man's body inside one of the units.
The building caught fire just before 5pm in the 14100 block of Montfort Drive in Far North Dallas.
When crews arrived they saw flames shooting out of a front window on the first floor unit. They had to break down the door to fight the fire and that is when they found the body.
The victim's identity has not been released or cause of death. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
