A man walked into the Lew Sterrett Justice Center late Thursday and confessed to killing his girlfriend, police say.
Christopher Worley, 40, told Dallas County Sheriff's deputies that he had killed 51-year-old Becky Ann Gee.
Officers went to the residence on the 4500-block of Munger and found Gee's body inside an apartment.
Worley was questioned by homicide detectives and then booked into Lew Sterret on a murder charge. He is currently being held on $500,000 bond.
Worley is also being held on a contempt of court/non payment of child support charge, with bond in that case set at $2,000.
