Man Turns Himself in for Wife's Murder: Sheriff

A Tarrant County man called sheriff's deputies to say he wanted to turn himself in for his wife's death.

Tarrant County Dispatch received the call at about 4 p.m. Saturday where the man, who identified himself as Sean Johnson, said his wife was dead in their home on Cliffside Drive and he was at a church wanting to turn himself in to authorities.

Deputies responded to the home and found 47-year-old Michelle Johnson dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Sean Johnson was found at the Southcliff Baptist Church and was placed into custody. He was taken to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office Jail and charged with murder.

Officials said at the time of his arrest, Johnson had blood on his hands.
