One person has been arrested in connection with the death of a 15-year-old girl whose body was found burning alongside a road in Ennis last week, the Dallas Morning News reports.
Jose Manuel Alvarado, 29, was arrested Saturday in Grand Prairie and charged with murder. The girl, Moriah Gonzales, and Alvarado were former coworkers, the paper reported.
Officials said the girl, whose body was found March 17, was from Waxahachie and had been staying with her sister in Ennis.
No bail has been set.
A second person wanted in connection with the crime, a woman, remains at large.
